This is a sleepy, low light iPhone shot I took this morning as I walked down the road to start the day. At this hour the Roadhouse and Nagley’s (behind this view) are the only ones open on Main Street, but later in the day Mountain High Pizza Pie, Village Arts and Crafts, Denali Brewpub and the Fairview will turn on/flip their signs and welcome folks into their shops, eateries, drinkeries. Not a bad roster of offerings for a Monday! Slide off Main Street a block or two at either end and you’ll find another handful of options. I find it fascinating that many believe the town shuts down during the Not Summer months…. hahaha… have you seen the CALENDAR lately?
