$5.65 / hour plus bonus |

Summary Duties and Responsibilities
- Be at work on time and prepared to work.
- Greet customers, take food and beverage orders from tables
in main cabin and cafe.
- Deliver food and beverage orders to inside / outside tables.
- Deliver guests checks to them then money to cashier.
- Maintain knowledge of our menu items and ingredients, wines,
beers and baked goods.
- Communicate with Cook regarding daily specials, items we are
out of, etc.
- Maintain neatness and orderliness in work station.
- Maintain a clean and potent Bleach Bucket at all times.
- Store food / nonfood items that pertain to waitstaff.
- At the end of each shift write down any items needed on the
Waitstaff Needs List.
- At the first of the month fill out the Waitstaff
Inventory Sheet.
- Alcohol Servers must carry their TAMS / TIPS card while on
shift.
- Should there ever be an issue with scheduling, co-workers or
other elements that may affect your ability to fulfill the job
requirements it is your duty and responsibility to approach the
management so that these issues may be resolved.
Job Requirements
- At least 16 years old.
- Individuals 16-18 must have a work permit allowing them to work
in a restaurant that has a Beverage Dispensary license.
- Ability to maintain composure and quality service during busy
working conditions.
- Self-motivated willingness to look for work and complete them.
- Attention to detail such as finding dirt in unusual places.
- Ability to twist, bend, reach and move work tables, equipment
and other items up to 50 pounds.
- Heightened awareness of personal cleanliness and neatness while
on the job
- Ability to follow and support Roadhouse policy
- Ability to answer questions about the Talkeetna / Denali area
- Ability to work on a flexible schedule according to the
requirements of the season
- Ability to be courteous and friendly to the guests as well as
co-workers
- Ability to listen to and follow directions
Physical Work Environment and Conditions
- Periodically busy atmosphere.
- There may be slow days when you may be let off shift early.
Tools of the Trade
- Microwave oven, conveyor toaster, bagel slicer, various cleaning
agents including, dishmachie chemicals, Sitra Clean and Bleach.
- Aprons and Tee Shirts provided and rubber gloves provided.
