Tents
|
The Roadhouse has six wall tents in East Talkeetna
available for staff to rent for a charge of $175 a month. The
tents are 10' by 12' and contain a single bed, dresser or desk
with chair and have plenty of head room. The floors are plywood
and the tents are placed approximately six to ten feet apart.
Gravel has been spread out over the areas where the vegetation was
turned over and it remains quite wooded. Flower planting and
revegetation is planned for early summer. There is no electricity
or water to any of the tents. Limited parking on the property in
front of the Bath House is available with arrangements. |

Bath House

The Bath House has separate male and female sides.
Each side is equipped with two showers and two sinks. One toilet
and one urinal for the men's room and two toilets for the female's
room. Lockers for valuables are available here. Please be aware
that we do not provide locks for these. Access to the Bath
House is controlled by key. Employees are issued a key for their
personal use. Please do not lend this key to others. The Bath
House is for the exclusive use of those living there and Roadhouse
employees who buy showers for themselves. Access to the Bath House
is strictly enforced. Those found to be lending or loaning keys to
provide access to the Bath House will be evicted promptly. |

cook top, toaster, coffee maker and table. This area has been
provided to allow employees an area to cook their off duty meals.

Special Notes
|
The employee tents are located in a residential
part of Talkeetna, a 15 minute walk to the Roadhouse and even
shorter bike ride. A firm Good Neighbor Policy exists that is
designed to prevent the disturbance of the peace. It is also
considered good practice to keep the area clear of garbage to
prevent the attraction of scavenging animals. |
