$6.65 / hour + bonus |

Summary Duties and Responsibilities
- Be at work on time and prepared to work.
- Clean rooms, bathrooms, hallway, living room area, side and
front porches.
- Some light outside maintenance / landscape duties.
- Follow set cleaning / plant watering schedules.
- Keep bathrooms stocked with paper towels and toilet paper
with extras in each bathroom.
- Keep handsoap dispensers in bathrooms, including shower
soaps filled.
- Keep all Sitra Clean bottles and handsoap supplies stocked
and diluted to proper strength.
- Wash, fold and store all room linen, towels, rags, aprons
and Employee Tee Shirts consistently.
- Collect and deposit recycling from kitchen and cafe into the
appropriate recycle bins in barrels.
- Store deliveries of Housekeeping supplies.
- At the end of shift complete the Housekeeping Needs Form.
- On the first of every month fill out the Housekeeping
Inventory Sheet.
- Keep the Laundry Room area secure: keep back door locked at
all times.
- Complete closedown cleanup of dining room and dishroom at
end of day.
- Should there ever be an issue with scheduling, co-workers or
other elements that may affect your ability to fulfill the job
requirements it is your duty and responsibility to approach the
management so that these issues may be resolved.
Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Individuals 16-18 must have a work permit allowing them to work
in a restaurant that has a Beverage Dispensary license.
- Self-motivated willingness to look for work and complete them.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to twist, bend, reach and move work tables, equipment
and other items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to follow and support Roadhouse policy.
- Ability to answer questions about the Talkeetna / Denali area.
- Ability to work on a flexible schedule according to the
requirements of the season.
- Ability to be courteous and friendly to the guests as well as
co-workers.
- Ability to listen to and follow directions.
- Heightened awareness of personal cleanliness and neatness while
on the job.
Physical Work Environment and Conditions
- The housekeepers work on their own and come into contact with
many guests throughout the day.
- Some outside work is required.
Tools of the Trade
- Washer and Drier. Upright vacuum cleaner, shop vac and various
cleaning agents including laundry detergent, Sitra Clean and bleach.
- Aprons, tee shirts and rubber gloves provided.
