Alaskan Trapper CabinTrapper John's Cabin
Trapper John's Cabin is a historic log cabin on a mini-homestead near the Susitna River - just a short walk to "Beautiful Downtown Talkeetna" and the Talkeetna Roadhouse.

Stay in an authentic Alaskan Trapper Cabin in Talkeetna

The cabin is decorated with trapping memorabilia, boasts one of Talkeetna's last examples of Blazo Can roof construction and sleeps four guests on cozy flannel sheets. There is a full kitchen, electricity, TV with VCR/DVD and a much-photographed "5-Star" outhouse. Guests are given a key to access the showers at the Roadhouse.

Little Cabin in the Back, Talkeetna RoadhouseTalkeetna Roadhouse Cabin
This is our on-site cabin right behind the main log building, the Talkeetna Roadhouse. The "Little Cabin in the Back" can sleep a total of 5 guests on a full-size bed, a single bed, and a full matress in the sleeping loft. The cabin offers a small microwave, a small refridgerator that is big enough to fit a 6-pack, and a VCR-TV so you can enjoy a video from our small library of movies. The bathroom is in the main building, just "5 steps out the back door".
